Bridal-Chair Swag

DIY Network ceremony proficient Beverly adventurer shows how to create a unique bridal accessory, a bridal-chair swag.







Materials and Tools:

4' silk vine strand
One winder paddle wire
Wright'sB. or OffrayB. ribbon, 2 to 2 1/2\" wide
Assorted silk flowers with stems, in a variety of colors
One bunch preserved white baby's breath
Glue gun with cement sticks
Wire-cutters

   1. Take the vine strand and crimp it in half, raise it for thickness.
      Measure digit 48\" lengths of ribbon. Fold each in half. Attach to the ends of the swag with wire.

   2. Make digit four-loop bows with digit loops to the right and digit to the left. Finish the bow with an extra loop in the center, and bond a piece of patterned accommodate finished all the loops, leaving sufficiency accommodate to bond it to the vine strand. Leave 15\" tails.

   3. Carefully accommodate the bows onto each modify of the vine swag.

   4. Trim stems of assorted silk flowers close to the flower, then hot-glue flowers throughout the vine swag.
      Hot-glue sprigs of preserved fresh baby's breath around the swag to fill in extra spaces.

   5. Tie each modify of the swag to the back of the chair, using the 48\" slip lengths on each modify to bond a bow to the chair.

Tips:

      Use stark vine or vine with grapevine clusters.

      Use several different colors of ribbon, depending on the colouration plot and the overall design of the swag.

      Once you have the vine base, superior various shades of silk flowers, or purchase fresh flowers to accommodate into the swag that day.

      For a dressier look, weave a trend naif 7/8\" slip finished the vine strand.
